JUST ASK HAYDEE, Comet Customer Service Specialist, who recently helped a client out of an especially tough spot — the middle of I-95:
“It was after hours when I got the call. A tractor-trailer driver carrying a full load on the way to Canada had blown a radiator hose on 1-95. He called Comet and we dispatched one of our drivers to pick-up a replacement part from an auto parts store. Our driver paid for the part and delivered it to the stranded trucker. We were able to do all of this in an hour!”
“The long-haul driver was really ecstatic that we were able to help him get on his way. If Comet hadn’t responded so quickly, it would’ve cost him at least another day in travel time and expenses,” she said.
