Surfside: Trucking, Warehousing, and Delivery Services

Surfside sits on the barrier island between Bal Harbour and Miami Beach, a compact oceanfront town built around the Harding Avenue and Collins Avenue corridors. Condominium towers, hotels, restaurants, and a walkable run of local retail share a street grid only a few blocks wide, reached across the Broad Causeway or along Collins. Comet Delivery provides Surfside trucking, warehousing, and delivery services handled by drivers who know the causeway timing, the loading restrictions on Harding, and how condominium receiving actually works here.

Freight Trucking and Delivery Services in Surfside

Freight in Surfside has to fit a town with almost no industrial space and very little curb. Collins and Harding carry steady traffic with narrow loading zones, residential towers route deliveries through a service entrance and a building manager, and a truck parked badly blocks a lane rather than a lot. Our dispatch team confirms approach routes, equipment, and timing before a truck rolls, so drivers arrive ready for the property they are entering.

Our Surfside trucking services include

Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) & Truckload (TL) Shipments, LTL and TL service for Surfside retailers, restaurants, hotels, and building management. Liftgate-equipped trucks and pallet jacks handle ground-level deliveries when dock access is not available.

Liftgate & Inside Delivery, Surfside storefronts and towers rarely have a dock, and many deliveries finish at a service door or a loading bay shared with residents. Our liftgate crews and inside delivery teams get freight down and inside without holding the street.

Last Mile & Hot Shot Services, Same-day urgent runs for Surfside businesses and buildings that need stock, supplies, or fixtures on site today.

Dock-to-Dock & US Customs Bonded Carrier Services, Comet's US Customs bonded carrier status protects Surfside businesses sourcing internationally, with documentation and chain of custody handled correctly from port of entry through final delivery.

Our logistics center coordinates every Surfside shipment in transit. If the causeway or Collins is backed up, if a building's service elevator is booked, or if a loading zone is occupied, dispatchers relay updated instructions in real time so the schedule holds.

Warehousing and Secure Storage in Surfside

Surfside has very little storage to spare, and condominium buildings in particular cannot hold freight for long. Comet's Florida warehouse facilities in Miami and Orlando provide secure storage with timed release into Surfside, so goods arrive on the day and hour you call for it.

Our Surfside warehousing services include

• Receiving & Inventory Storage, Pallets, cartons, and crates received, bar-coded into a computerized inventory system, and stored under 24/7 monitoring with coded entry. Climate-stable areas are available for sensitive stock and finished goods.
• Order Processing & Shipping, Picking, packing, and outbound scheduling for Surfside retailers and suppliers who outsource fulfillment. Outbound runs align to each destination's receiving window.
• Cross-Docking, Fast unload, verify, and reload for goods moving onto the barrier island on tight cycles, which keeps a large trailer off narrow streets.

Same Day and Expedited Delivery in Surfside

When a Surfside business or building needs something on site today, the route, the vehicle, and the timing decide whether the day holds together. Comet's same-day and expedited services move freight direct, with dispatcher oversight through every leg.

Our delivery services include:

Same-Day Delivery, Direct same-day pickup and delivery for urgent Surfside shipments, confirmed at pickup and again at drop.

Expedited Shipping, Dedicated vehicles for large or fragile loads moving point to point, with no cross-dock stops and freight padded and strapped for the full move.

Home Delivery Service, White-glove residential delivery for Surfside condominiums and homes receiving furniture, appliances, or fixtures, with floor protection, careful placement, and packaging removal handled before our team leaves.

Specialized Delivery Services

Surfside's mix of oceanfront towers, hotels, and small-format retail asks for delivery plans that respect each building's rules.

Courier Services: Couriers covering the barrier island handle urgent envelopes, time-sensitive documents, and small parcels between Surfside and other Miami-Dade and Broward County addresses, with electronic proof of delivery on every drop.

Last Mile Delivery Service: Liftgate-equipped vehicles cover the final leg from regional warehouses into Surfside storefronts, lobbies, and service entrances.

On-Demand Delivery: Cargo vans and box trucks available on short notice for unscheduled Surfside pickups or last-minute deliveries.

White Glove Delivery Services: Two-person teams for fragile, high-value, or oversized freight, including furnishings and fixtures bound for upper floors, with protective materials and corner guards used as conditions require.

Why Choose Comet Delivery in Surfside?

Surfside's narrow streets, booked service elevators, and limited loading zones call for delivery plans built around each building rather than a one-size route.

• Dedicated Delivery as the Default: Most of our Surfside clients run on a dedicated truck, meaning your freight is the only job on that vehicle from pickup to delivery. No commingled loads, no terminal sorts, no waiting for a route to fill. Pair it with our courier, expedited, or last-mile services when a job calls for something different.
• Bonded Carrier Credentials and Secure Handling: Comet's US Customs bonded carrier status keeps customs-controlled freight protected through final delivery into Surfside, with accurate documentation and an intact chain of custody.
• Custom Logistics Support: Retailers, restaurants, hotels, and condominium management each work under different access rules. Our team coordinates scheduling, staging, and elevator reservations so deliveries fit cleanly into the day.
• Real-Time Updates & 24/7 Availability: Our dispatch center stays in direct contact with drivers and clients. Causeway congestion, loading zone availability, and schedule changes are relayed in real time so nothing stalls on site.

Additional Logistics Solutions

Beyond standard trucking, warehousing, and delivery, Comet rounds out Surfside's supply chain with logistics services shaped to its oceanfront residential and retail mix.

We coordinate delivery route planning that factors Surfside's narrow loading zones, booked service elevators, and causeway timing into every run. Drayage services connect South Florida seaports to Central Florida through our linehaul, and when several suppliers are involved our freight consolidation services combine shipments into single coordinated deliveries to cut cost and simplify receiving.

Retail clients lean on our retail fixtures logistics (FF&E) for new store openings and remodels, while retail replenishment logistics keep shelves and stockrooms supplied. Exhibitors and event teams rely on our trade show logistics, which manage booth and display materials between origin and the show floor with last-minute support when a show needs it.
